American, 1968
Gold lame moire, inspired by the Orient, with channel quilted bands at collar, bodice front, cuffs and hem, with long wide sleeves and extremely wide palazzo pants, separate belt, size 6, labeled: Donald Brooks, handwritten no. 390.
Very good condition, seam unsewn at back center waist.

The jumpsuit was illustrated in Newsweek, June 24, 1968. Tearsheet included.
