  Paris\, 1950-78s\n\nEach of the embroidery samples are marked with a ’J
 . G. Vermont’ or ’Vermont’ paper label from the Paris\, France. The 
 first and fifth example have a paper label with the address ’39 Rue de P
 aradis’\, while the remaining items all have the address of ’39 Faubou
 rg Poissonniere’. \n\nThe second example is made of black fabric embroi
 dered with silver and red metallic thread and further embroidered with sil
 ver\, pink and black sequins and beads in a 3D/raised design. \nTracing l
 ines for the embroidery design can be seen on the fourth example. \nThe s
 ixth example comes with two small spools of matching colored thread. \n\n
 The examples are embroidered on net and woven fabric pieces from approxima
 tely 10" x 13" to 17" x 21". \n\nThese embroidery sample were discovered 
 in the Geoffrey Beene Archive.\n\n
