Description du catalogue
Jacques Azagury studied at St Martin’s school of Art and the London College of Fashion and went on to be considered one of London’s foremost designers. He became a favourite of the late Diana, Princess of Wales and produced dozens of creations for her. Her first commission was from his New Romantic Velvets collection and she remained a faithful client for the next twelve years. The last gown was made to wear on the occasion of her 36th and last birthday in 1997. His signature features are beautiful fabrics, superb construction and an understanding of glamour and how best to compliment the female form.
