Dora Sprinzel arrived and her husband Paul arrived in the UK from Berlin in the 1930s. Paul had formerly been a director in the German film industry. They set up a design studio in Paris and followed all of the Paris couture shows and trends. Dora then produced designs which were sold and leased to manufacturers worldwide.
