A rare Westwood/McLaren ’Pirate’ ensemble with hat, Autumn-Winter, 1981-82, World’s End labelled, comprising: pale blue cotton jacket figured with blue silk shamrocks, the slashed sleeves inset with black and gold spotted taffeta, two glass buttons to fasten; the matching trousers with triangular panel to crotch concealing the zip fastening, high waisted with buckle to the back, half-mast hem length; short black and gold spotted silk doublet-style waistcoat; a voluminous white shirt printed with navy diamonds; and a fabulous black felt cocked hat with red painted cockade and leather bow, gilt rope and tassels, i chest 102cm, 42in, waist 81cm, 32in (5)
