Provenance: From the estate of costume designer Lisa Benjamin. The slippers and gloves belonged to and were worn by her Grandmother, Julia Benjamin. The pair of 1933 shoes were worn by Barbara Accoyne Betholl, neé Barrett, for her wedding day on December 21st, 1933.
