The iconic Saddle bag is not just an accessory: it is a cult piece that has transcended eras and trends. Originally designed by John Galliano for Dior in 1999, the Saddle burst onto the fashion scene in the late 1990s, an era marked by overflowing creativity and the birth of the "star bag" phenomenon. Its curved shape, inspired by the equestrian world - like a saddle or a reinterpreted saddlebag - broke with the aesthetic codes of the time, offering a completely new proposal: daring, sensual and full of attitude.
But its cultural explosion came from the hand of Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City. Her character, Carrie Bradshaw, turned the Saddle into a global object of desire, and from then on it was adopted by emblematic figures of the 2000s such as Paris Hilton, Sienna Miller, Mischa Barton or Beyoncé.
