The Spanish fashion house, LOEWE, was founded in Madrid in 1846 as a cooperative among a group of leather artisans led by the German businessman Enrique Loewe Roessberg. LOEWE evolved and grew over the centuries, producing desirable pieces and demonstrating a strong and consistent ability to impress with its wide range of designs. In 1970, artist Vicente Vela created the LOEWE logo consisting of four interlocking "L "s, which has come to represent quality through its material and excellent technique. Since 2013, Jonathan Anderson has been the creative director of Loewe, continuing the level of the company’s standards since its inception.
