During the 1990s, many classic fountain pen brands were revived, including Eversharp, which relaunched its iconic Skyline model, originally designed in the 1940s by renowned industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss. This model featured a modern aerodynamic design and a traditional lever-filling system.
In 1995, the new Eversharp reintroduced the Skyline with an appearance true to the original design but with modern improvements. The most unusual edition was the Skyline Yellow Cab, an homage to the famous yellow Ford cabs. It featured yellow resin body with black checkerboard detailing and "YELLOW CAB" lettering.
