This Gucci Diana Tote is a contemporary reinterpretation of a model that the house introduced in the 1990s, a key period for Gucci after Tom Ford’s creative direction. Its most recognizable feature, the natural bamboo handles, has been part of the maison’s historical identity since the mid-20th century.
This version was presented under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, who incorporated a distinctive element: the leather strap with the "Gucci" logo surrounding the handles. This detail, inspired by the bands historically used to protect bamboo, becomes here an aesthetic and functional resource that updates the model without altering its essence.
