Lily of the valley is the emblematic flower of Dior. It symbolises the arrival of spring and can be found in the gardens of Monsieur Dior’s childhood home in Granville. Superstitious, Monsieur Dior would sew a sprig into the hem of each of his dresses and wear one on his jacket as a good luck charm. He also created the Muguet line for his 1954 collection and made it the main olfactory note of his Diorissimo fragrance, created in 1956. This service therefore pays tribute to Monsieur Dior and features several variations over the years, still available today at Dior Maison.

The lilly service is created after the one made by Monsieur Dior in the 1960s.
