 he Wizards lost to the Bucks\, 133-120.\n\nAlexandre Sarr was born in Bord
 eaux\, France\, into a family of basketball players and began playing at t
 he age of four. At 14\, he joined the Spanish club Real Madrid Baloncesto 
 and competed for their youth team before moving to Overtime Elite in Atlan
 ta in 2021.\n\nAt 16\, Sarr debuted for the French junior national team an
 d helped lead France to victory at the FIBA U16 European Challengers. He f
 ollowed that success by earning a bronze medal at the 2022 FIBA U17 World 
 Cup and a silver medal at the 2023 FIBA U19 World Cup.\n\nSelected second 
 overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2024 NBA Draft\, Sarr brought an 
 exciting combination of length\, agility\, and versatility to a young team
  in need of interior presence and defensive stability. He made an immediat
 e impact as the Wizards’ primary rim protector and a key contributor on 
 both ends of the floor.\n\nAt the time of cataloging\, Sarr has career ave
 rages of 13.8 points\, 6.8 rebounds\, and 2.6 assists per game. He was nam
 ed to the 2024–25 NBA All-Rookie First Team and has quickly emerged as o
