Introduced for the 2025–26 NBA season, the Trophy Patch is a new symbol of recognition worn only once during each honoree’s first game of the year. Positioned above the Nike Swoosh, the patch mirrors the design of the player’s award trophy, marking the first time individual achievements have been celebrated directly on-uniform. Only 35 special Trophy Patches were issued league-wide.

This away ‘Icon Edition’ jersey features the All-NBA Third Team Patch and was worn in the 2nd Half by Cade Cunningham on October 22, 2025, during the NBA Tip-Off, when the Detroit Pistons played the Chicago Bulls.

Cunningham recorded a double-double, finishing with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists, and 1 steal. The Pistons lost to the Bulls, 115-111.

Cade Cunningham was selected with the first overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, becoming the franchise’s third No. 1 overall selection. Highly regarded as one of the premier prospects of his class, Cunningham quickly established himself as the focal point of Detroit’s rebuild with his combination of size, vision, and scoring ability.

During the 2023–24 season, Cunningham delivered a breakout campaign, averaging career highs of 22.7 points and 7.5 assists per game while joining Isiah Thomas and Dave Bing as the only players in franchise history to average at least 22 points and seven assists in a single season. His performance earned him recognition as one of the league’s most dynamic young guards.

Cunningham continued to elevate his play in 2024–25, leading Detroit’s resurgence and earning his first career All-NBA selection.
