In late 2007, Nike continued their tradition of Halloween-inspired dunks with the release of the famous ’Horror Pack.’ Alongside the ‘Dawn of the Dead’ Nike Air Trainer 1 and the never-released ‘Freddy Krueger’ SB Dunks, the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Jason Voorhees’ was a highly anticipated addition. The shoe was built with colors inspired by the Friday the 13th franchise’s villain and has become a staple in discussions of themed Nike SB releases. Although officially released in a high-cut format, an incredibly rare low-cut version was also produced, and never released to the public, making it highly prized by collectors.
This low-cut single shoe features a black leather base, overlaid with blood-like, deep red distressed leather. The heel panel is white, taking inspiration from Jason’s hockey mask.
