Originally introduced as a free punk magazine, titled ‘ Voice of Montreal,’ Vice was founded in 1994  in Quebec. Today, a diversified media platform, Vice is a global brand. Known for its unorthodox journalism style, produced through digital, print and mobile channels, VICE reportedly outputs over 2,400 pieces of content weekly, in 25 different languages.

The Air Force 1 CMFT ‘Vice’ is a simple, yet flashy friends and family rendition of the 1982 classic silhouette. Rumored to only be 50 pairs in existence and dressed in an all white premium leather, the 2017 Vice Air Force 1 separates itself with its gold details throughout the shoe. Beginning with the laces, the pair features gold aglets, and a Metallic Gold Vice logo deubre. ‘L’Union Fait la Force’ - which translates from French to ‘Unity is Strength’- can be found on the heels of the sneaker, likely an homage to the company’s roots in French-speaking Quebec.

The phrase ‘Rumored to Be Among the Best’ is featured on the interior tongue tags, and a gold Vice logo dresses the heel tab. On the leather insoles, the years 1994 and 2017 are also printed in gold - commemorating the establishment of the ‘Voice of Montreal’. As a finishing detail, the sneakers feature a partially translucent outsole with large VICE branding.
