blue and pink label, size 10, the white satin ground with black 1950s inspired poodle print and ’Oodles of Poodles’ text, with black satin collar, yoke and turned back cuffs, bust 86cm 34in
An identical jacket was featured in: The Fashion and Textiles Museum, London, ’Beautiful People: The Boutique in 1960s Counterculture’, 2022
Elton John wore a similarly printed corduroy jacket when he guested on piano for T. Rex’s performance of their hit single ‘Get It On’ on the Christmas broadcast of Top of the Pops in 1971:
