comprising: a Rudi Gernreich-inspired ivory cotton dress printed with black and red letters in different typefaces, with shirred bodice, snap closures, JPG circle label, size M, bust 107cm 42in; a black polyamide dress heat-transfer printed with phrases relating to Paris, pearlescent button closure, Femme label, size GB 10, bust 102cm 40in (2)
From the Wardrobe of Romilly, Lady McAlpine
Rudi Guernrich famously created a similar typeface dress for his Fall 1968 collection. Peggy Moffitt would go on to re-edition the design in collaboration with Comme des Garçons in 2003
