Launched in 2006, the Reference 5960P quickly established itself as a collectors’ favorite, marking an important milestone as the very first Patek Philippe model to feature the manufacture’s wholly in-house self-winding chronograph movement, the calibre CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H. Pairing a flyback chronograph with the brand’s celebrated annual calendar, this modern movement incorporates a nearly wear-free vertical clutch, underscoring Patek Philippe’s mastery of technical innovation.

Originally presented in platinum with an anthracite dial, the 5960P has since been joined by additional variants, including a pink gold edition in 2009 and a second platinum version with a blue sunburst dial in 2010. Our present example remains faithful to the very first 2006 release and is offered here in wonderfully preserved condition.
