Galanos Beaded Evening Gown
Gown custom ordered from Chicago boutique, Ultimo. Likely from a Galanos collection in 1984. The gown was worn by Merle Reskin to opening of The Merle Reskin Theatre in Chicago, Mrs. Reskin was photographed in the gown with close friend Shirley Jones.
Evening gown in silver-tone jacquard with all-over beading and black silk crêpe. V-neck. Long sleeves with puffed sleeve head and shoulder pads, zipper closures at wrists. Knee-high slit at skirt front. Concealed zipper closure and hook-and-eye at back bodice. Partially lined.
